Valley Health Team celebrated their Ribbon Cutting for the opening of two new locations, Kingsburg and Firebaugh. Zumwalt Construction, Inc. is proud to be part of projects like these, that help serve the community and create access to better health care services in smaller communities in the Central Valley.

The clinics consist of new single story medical offices with both medical and dental suites, exam rooms and X-Ray rooms.

Congratulations to Soyla Reyna Griffin, Chief Executive Officer of Valley Health Team, to opening the new locations and we hope for many more to come!

Cats, Witches, Unicorns, and Ghost Busters all came out to enjoy our wonderful fall weather at the Zumwalt Construction Inc.’s Harvest Luncheon. Employees wore their Halloween costumes and enjoyed pizza, games and lots of candy.

Everyone thought pumpkin bowling would be easy, but they were all proven wrong. Congratulations to our winners, Crystal in 3rd place, Pauline in 2nd, and our pumpkin bowling champion Eddie. Congratulations to our costume raffle winner, Roberta. ZCI hopes they all enjoy their prizes.

ZCI knows that the COVID-19 pandemic has made having fun more difficult than usual, but we are making the best of it by finding ways to have fun while maintaining safe distances and following protocol to keep everyone safe.

We hope that everyone that attended our Harvest Luncheon had fun and we are looking forward to next year’s celebration.

The word boss can be used to describe the person who keeps us employed or it can be used as a slang term to describe a person who excels in in something they do. So, I am here to tell you that the bosses of Zumwalt Construction, Inc, are BOSS!

Kurt Zumwalt is, owner, CEO and “head boss” at Zumwalt Construction, Inc. Kurt graduated from Harvard with a Bachelor of Arts in 1973 and then began working in the construction. He has over 45 years in the construction industry and has spent the last 25 years working tirelessly to build a company that only settles for excellence.

Robert [Bob} McKnight is Zumwalt Constructions President and Kurt’s right hand in keeping our company going. He graduated from Fresno State with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. Bob has over 30 years in constructions and works beside Mr. Zumwalt to continue to grow our company.

The employees at Zumwalt Construction, Inc., are thrilled to say, “Happy National Bosses Day” and “thank you” to the 2 men responsible for keeping us happily employed.

“I have always found them to be fair and equitable” Deanna, HR

“Thank you for your Leadership, Dedication and being the best Team Leaders.” Pauline, Executive Administrator

“On a personal level, Kurt and Bob are both sympathetic to family when there are needs at home. On a professional level, they provide mentoring and take the time to assist in the professional development of each employee.” Eddie, Estimating
